Mr John Kenealy FRCS FRACS(Plast Surg), is a fully trained, experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Frenchay Hospital (North Bristol NHS Trust), who has been in private practice since 1993.

He operates privately at the BUPA Hospital Bristol, and Bristol Nuffield Hospital (St Mary's). He set up the Laser Centre of the South West at Frenchay Hospital in 1992 and continues to treat both NHS and private patients there.

In his role as Regional Training Programme Director in Plastic Surgery he was instrumental in setting up the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery training programme in Bristol.

He has been Department Specialty Director for a period of five years, and is currently the South West Region College Advisor in Plastic Surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He acts as a special advisor to NICE on interventional procedures.
